You're generally against is the wrong word. You really like work to be done inside the department within the department's, you know, chain of command. I think what Bob Mueller accomplished in a limited period of time was pretty significant. But you really do hope, and particularly when it's an investigation involving the president, that it can be resolved quickly - ideally before the next presidential election.
