The Wii U and 3DS eShop was closed on March 20th, 2013. This is the first time in video game history that such a large number of games have been available for download from Nintendo's online store. In an interview with The Game History Foundation, host Gerard O'Mara talks about why he decided to do this. "I felt like this is the kind of this bitterness or this upset drive of, well, why do they do that? Like, why can't I?"
