Clara's Trip to Rogaz
Mr Zayzamorans had promised his daughter a trip to visit her friend on the alp. But now he could not bear to deprive Clara of this pleasure. He proposed that she should go with him and be carried up from Rogaz. The doctor tried to object, but Mr Zayzaman was so full of his new project it didn't matter. 'I can't see you sad any longer. You must get away,' said father-of-three.
