You're at Each Other's Throats
To be at each other's throats is that part of your neck, there, where the windpipe is. For example, my neighbors are a nightmare and they argue all the time. And as soon as the lockdown was announced, I thought, Oh dear, it's going to be interesting listening to their arguments. The more you know someone, the more, the less you respect them. Maybe this whole lockdown situation will form a bond with that person that will never be broken. It could go the other way, couldn't it?
