Wood: "We were actually able to go back into the past where there was a big climate change of international studies, essentially in real time how these organisms responded" Wood found for some of these increased rainfall drove their prevalence, but others not so much. Some plant pathogens that didn't seem to respond at all. There was no statistical difference between the wet and dry climate periods,. But then we found others that did respond quite dramatically.
