Are Your Students Become Aware of the Kinds of Intellectual Moves That They're Doing?

Students don't have the terminology even to be aware of some of the intellectual kind of work that they're doing. It's this big amorphous jumble in their brain. The ability for them to describe some language to specific intellectual work or different kinds of intellectual work is critical for them. All of this metacognition is critical if we want them to eventually be able to think about any given subject matter or thinking a disciplinary way.
