The Future of Aviation
In 1968, the FAA created a special anti-hijacking task force to come up with some solution that would be palatable to the airlines. They invited the public to submit suggestions about how this could be done. My most common suggestion was complete capitulation and provide free transportation to Cuba for those persons leaving the United States.
