I have been using smiles to change situations for decades now and it really really works so I used it in New York a couple of years ago. A woman named Farita Wolf was at a post office one day and she was just so aggravated there was this super long line even though it wasn't Christmas time or tax filing time. You can put a smile on your face even if you're not feeling it which leads into one of my other keys to happiness which is to use your positive thinking. It's amazing what happens if you just smile at that person it's really hard for them to stay grumpy if somebody's smiling at them.
