If you are in any way inclined to work with the dead, working with dead magicians, right? Means you're going to have to be familiar with the kind of magic that people were doing back in the day. So this happens with the excellent book, a bunch of clever ghosts turn up Agrippa, Solomon, Adam, Bacon.
