Space Junk in Low Earth Orbit
There's a lot of space junk in low earth orbit. China purposely blew up one of its own satellites with a missile to prove that it could, as sort of like a show of power. The international space station can do little thrusts there to avoid big pieces of space junk. There've been conceptual plans to basically put a giant net into space and and go around like a little spaceship in space and catch little pieces ofspace junk and d orbit them safely.
