What's the Issue With Back to Back Down Years?
The calendar in and of itself is arbitrary. Having a down year is not that rare, but back to back down years is fairly rare. The market's had plenty of rolling 24-month periods where it's down. On a calendar basis, it would take an epic thing to get back to backdown years.
