When you're coming down to, say, adding one to a number, it's quite hard to then find more scaffolded steps to explain that. And so i think im sort of having to really think about different ways to explain that same subject and finding different ways to present it to children who really understand it. Soithink ther's real merit in in introducing children to,say, addition an using saint number lines and rounding, adjusting,. but then not expecting children to follow one certain method.
