How to Determine if Your Blood Pressure System Is Damped

The mean arterial pressure is far less affected by dampening. An overdamped and a praying waveform can also be the result of aorticinosis, vasodilatation, low cardiac output states or severe hypovolemia. A dynamic response characteristic has to be tested in order to determine if your system is properly dampened.
