The Importance of Keeping Your Mind on Your Problem
For me, the key with Apple script has been keeping the problem that I have in mind and the solution. Just because you can squish it this way in this application doesn't mean you can do it the same way in another app. You've got to remember that you may have to toss it around a little bit but ultimately you can usually arrive at what you need to do.
