The Future of Moral Progress
i'm interested in ways of taking that kind of idea away from its roots and seeing like you know head gailyan ideas of that being this insuperable upsurge of you know progress. i'd be really curious to hear what your perspective is from that kind of intellectual history viewpoint so i think especially about things like the end of the world. If we take the same mindset now how do you feel about some of the discussions of current existential risks that are very topical? I don't think everything has to be a wiggish history but there's plenty of complete dead ends in the book as well.
