Zelensky's New Year's Message to Russia

Ukrainian president Zelensky sent a New Year message to Russians in which he pushed the notion that you are being forced to fight Putin's war. This is not actually about NATO this is certainly not about regaining historic lands instead you are fighting and dying so that one man and his cabal of cronies can maintain their political power now for Zelensky. He faces obviously a difficult political challenge here on the one hand he wants to tell Russians its Putin's war not yours but on the other hand he's also basically trying to in effect shame them into resisting or something like that.
