Using the Term Covenant in a Covenant Theology
There is a place called adam mentioned in joshua chapter three, verse 16. Some argue that it must be a geographical reference relating to a sin committed there. Another popular reading cedes this as a reference back to Adam breaking the covenant of works. It is important to recognize that the term covenant within scripture is deployed much less broadly than it is within systems of so called covenant theology.
