Introduction

The post is called The Parable of the King and the Random Process. It's written in the grand tradition of parables, which are my favorite kind of less wrong posts. I actually wrote this as a sort of tongue in cheek attempt to win the FTX Future Fund Prize but then amusingly FTX implodes.
