The Importance of GPS in the Air Force

We took a lot of friendly fire casualties that we were calling three rounds to zero the artillery. I remember every night we dug in, it was horror when we fired our O Ns. There's nothing like being on the ground and you call air strikes him. It's amazing. Everybody has a GPS. So you can call in your artillery fire, danger close and you're pretty safe. Nothing like that.
