I see on a daily basis those of my friends, colleagues, peers and other people who don't happen to be professors of history or somehow connected to major universities with significant research libraries. I know that they are simply unable to access the kind of stuff that the professoria within the academic bubble has its fingertips and takes for granted. That seems to me significantly unfair to that. 99.5% of the population of the industrialized world has no access to these academic resources. If you look at the global south, of course, the situation is even more extreme.
