The Falsified Business Records in the Indictment of Donald Trump

Sally Kohn: Bragg did not specify sort of the state crimes that he thinks Trump was trying to conceal with the falsified business records. She says it turns out as a matter of New York state practice, when you're taking this falsification misdemeanor and bumping it up to a felony because it's being committed in furtherance of some other crime, you actually don't need to charge the other crime. Kohn: I think they laid out a clear case for why this satisfied the threshold to bring a prosecution. And do I wish that we were going to get a perfect case wrapped in a bow that actually held Trump accountable for all of the worst he did to our democracy?
