A sex worker who saw Griffiths regularly for four years before his arrest also spoke to the bbc about him. She said he was absolutely terrified of insects calling in his ears in his sleep So he had to plug his ears with cotton wool One night I didn't have any and he just stayed up all night. He refused to go to bed wouldn't lie down Which looking back is really quite bizarre After this girlfriend broke off all contact with him, he'd an abusive relationship with another woman. When she finally managed to escape from him in 2001 But he wasn't happy and he stalked her for years Spraying slag on her wall when she was a war on holiday And leaving threatening messages
