Go Is a Smaller Language Than Russ
I really hope someday we get something that is a smaller language than rust because rust is huge but that nonetheless finds a way to do what rust has often done in other areas. I won't having done rust give up the full end-to-end memory safety that we get in it and I get the trade-offs being made there. To me that's just a again for me that's a non-negotiable I'm not willing to give it up anymore. And yet I see the attraction because something that could be really powerful without boats had a great post a few years ago notes on a smaller rust which I would commend to people which tried to think about some of these dynamics.
