The Lord's Hammer and Weapon of War

In verse 20 Babylon is described as the Lord's hammer and weapon of war. The futility of idolatry will be proved in the day that the Lord brings down the great power of Babylon, says Jack Lumbom. Once again the Lord summons the army against her,. northern kingdoms are going to be assembled as part of this great attacking host. It will desolate the land of Babylon which will be powerless to resist them. Their boundaries will be breached, their defenses overcome. They themselves will be made like a thrashing floor, trodden underfoot in judgement.
