The Anti-Italian Bigot

Some commenters, some readers are some listeners to the episode I did with Brett Deviro who were just taking it asserting that all my talk about like the ancient Romans being sort of mafia like in their assumptions about power and the way they talk about power. That was just, you know, me being an anti Italian bigot on full display. And I take offense at it. I mean, I really do. I think I've earned sort of the benefit of the doubt on this kind of thing but the idea that he's cavalierly just being openly and self consciously bigoted towards any group of people, never mind Italians, is just unfair.
