Protestantism or Theism?

Protestantism is a more modest view, in the sense that it has sort of less assumptions. Sola scriptura is part of protestantism. That is an additional thing that catholicism doesn't have. And so then the question isl which view actually is more modest? and so but let's just talk about camp out on modesty.
