Sexual Revolution - The Industrial Revolution

Sexual revolution didn't begin in the 20th century. It was already underway in the 19th. Victorian morality rejected both Aristotle and Christianity as an explanation for the link between sex and marriage. The sexual revolution kicked into a new gear with the advent of modern forms of contraception, especially oral contraception. You can have sex without marriage and you can get married and choose to have an intentionally childless marriage because children are expensive.
