I can say that there are two types of successful design professionals and one type is totally clear like I understand how this career path works. There's also another kind of wild creative person who you know one day the ebles and podcasts another day they get invited to design chairs for someone. Both work for different people for different reasons my personality needs the way that I work for many reasons but it worked for me because I'm doing something unlike anybody else so it works for me. But what I've learned through not niecing down in the way that most people do and through having a career that's unlike anybody else's is that it's a harder fight to make money.
