The Controversy of the Bhagavad Vita
The Bhagavad Gita is a war epic and it calls for an advocates for violence. This conception of Hinduism as a peaceful religion is a misconception. It's a result of Gandhi appropriating the sermon on the mount and attempting to augment it to his Hindu beliefs. And so I like to tell people, the Bhagvad Gita teaches people to kill their family, where our Lord taught us to love our enemies. That's a quite tragic reality.
