In his new book, The Distracted Mine, David Walliams explains why we are so susceptible to being distracted. He says the problem goes back much further into our ancestors history and really that we're pre wired for distraction. So could you explain how our brains evolve to become distracted? A i like to think about this lem from, as i subtitle in my book, ancient brains in a high tec world. It's more satisfying to look at the fundamentals of why we might be vulnerable to a certain type of activity by focusing on the foundational principles of how the brain works.
