The Culture War and the BBC

British media is one of those institutions that hasn't been fully captured by progressives. The BBC doesn't need to sell itself it's dependent on the license fee so it doesn't matter if they're promoting ideas that are unpopular with the public. Conservatives have essentially allowed a large array of issues their core issues family national identity, history and women's rights to be considered toxic and socially unacceptable. If you talk about these issues now if you talk about our history talk about women's rights  and children you know you are engaging in divisive culture war politics.
