Is Winston Churchill an Alcoholic?
Winston Churchill was a fully functioning very lucid alcoholic. He used to have a thing called mouthwash which was whiskey diluted with lots of soda and as part of the experiment for this book I did eat 1930s food for that year. When war broke out Georgina was cooking in Exening House so it's a new market and she was catering a big race season. Clementine Churchill clearly thought oh my god we can't afford this woman our own cooks just gone off she's just taken off to go over there daughter this woman will be amazing.
