The Disappointment of the Orthodox in the Ecumenical Movement

Both the Protestants and the Orthodox are currently have been well word disappointed by the ecumenical movement. The Protestant disappointment was that all of these meetings, all of these assemblies did not produce visible tangible results. And then there was a sense of we're just wasting our time where we're just trying to do something but it doesn't work. My point is that if you wanted to work, at least in principle, you have to start from the life of the church. You have to make it the business of the entire community of the church, not just a select category of experts. That would be my, that was my,  that's what I see as initial key to unlocking this
