The Relationship of John the Baptist to Jesus

Many people are more comfortable with a notion that God commands ethnic cleansing than they are with the notion that maybe they have to read the Bible differently. I would be tempted to say something like there came a book sent from God whose name was Bible. It came to bear witness to the light that all might believe through it. The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. That's just godless liberalism, everyone. We're done here.
