Machines and the Individual

We are our selves a complex collection of machines and their processes. We can even think about machines at the level of bodily processes. Just as a group of people can make up a larger machine in the form of a political movement, collections of machines make up the individual. The famous quote from the book about machines is e everywhere. It is machines, real ones, not figurative ones, machines driving other machines.
