People build the skill of observing without making judgments. The active observer does make judgments at times, but they're not judgments of you and your person. They could be judgments of how well you exercise that skill in that moment. You're going to learn how to make that judgment dispassionately. And also the reflection is huge. Yeah, that's the part I think I've left out. If you are not participating consciously in the learning process, you are not in control of what that intuitive brain that we all need as we move into more complex and sophisticated roles. It's a key characteristic of several learning theories from the 20th century. P.O.J. called this reflecting abstraction
