The Immanuel Prophecy in Isaiah 7:14
The Immanuel prophecy in Chapter 7 is both a near or partial fulfillment, as well as fulfillment in Christ. In the original Hebrew, virgin in Isaiah 7 means a woman of marriageable age. This applied to Ahas's wife, who would indeed bear a son and name him Immanuel. The two nations attempting to conquer Judah will be cut down and destroyed before they're even old enough to know right from wrong.
