How Innovation Has Become Perverted in Majority?
The fetishization of innovation is the most derivative conformity, disguised as rupture. No act of innovation can be entirely done from a vacuum, and must involve some degree of imitation. We need to revere it just enough to learn all of its secrets, but not so much that we don't feel licensed to make improvements. This delicate, delicate balancing act allows us to properly imitate those who have come before us,. In mastering their achievements, become masters and innovators ourselves.
