Is It Possible to Fake a Location?

Is it possible to fake a location? We live in a time of of deep fakes. I haven't specifically heard any reports of videos that have been shared from things like conflict zones where the background has been completely faked using these kind of deep fake techniques. There's no reason someone couldn't do something like this. It just would take a lot effort. And looking at some of the misinformation or disinformation that's being spread around, most recently in the conflict between russia and ukrane, most of it is pretty low effort. In my case, i created map of an entire region o oblat of russia, just compinuing basically changed taction in sar and seeing which
