You Can Never Be a Revolutionary Sceptic and Live in the World
Scepticism is thus a form of reform. But you can never actually be a revolutionary sceptic and live in the world. My catholicism is so entwined with my desire to be part of a line of people, including my father, who died when i was very young. It's very much to be a catholic, because i want to be connected to this tradition. That's all internal and that can mean it isn't always true. We don't know whether we're inside or outside, but from the inside I think i'm getting good at winning battles.
