Crypto Lobbying

Lobbyists know that they're funneling more money than they're allowed to to the candidate. And the candidate is aware of it, even if they get somebody who hits the federal limit. I think in a weird way, it reflects well on Congress that despite these enormous sums being spent on lobbying and donations and everything, Congress never actually really got close to passing the kind of laws that the crypto industry wanted them to pass.
