Putin's Crossing a Red Line

I don't believe that the Russian dictator will ever subdue the national feeling of the Ukrainians and their passionate belief that their country should be free. I think another worrying thing about this is that Putin now has crossed a line. He already was, but even more so, in staying in power and clinging on to power. So there's a sense in which the consequences, it's almost worth any consequences for him now. We don't know what the pain is going to be, but he has crossing a line from which I don't think there's any coming back.
