The End of Poetry

I think poetry is the place we get to take our armor off, and it's the only place i can be totally free. I wrote this poem at a moment when i was a little bit feeling forsaken by poetry. It really felt like, you know, between the pandemic, the climate crisis, the state of our world, am,.  It just kind of felt like, what is the point of this? What is thepoint of writing? And i think i needed to find some way to hold on to that um.
