Most people pay the same rate whenever you use energy. So using it at night does not save you money. The only reasons it would save you money is if you're on a time of use tariff,. Such as an Eco7 and Eco10 or the specific Octopus has a whole different range of much better higher tech versions. For everybody else, it does not matter when you use energy, you pay the same.
