Ketamine is increasingly recommended as the first line agent for rapid tranquilization in ABD and our chem recommend this. It's associated with shorter times to adequate sedation than either benzos or antipsychotics. But there are a few studies that have noted that ketamine can cause significant cardiovascular problems, all of which we don't want wrong.
