Tesla Sells Directly to Consumers
The town manager laughed more than a little and wandered right over to the guy's door, having been called one time too many at home after he had gone to bed. The next day they had to rip the entire fence out. He did not ask for this regulation to be removed. He asked for Tesla to be made an exception. Why? Because if he was an exception to the rule, not only does he get to sell directly to consumers, but the rules now stands protecting him from competitors who might come along. But look, this is what people do. They fight each other through regulation. And it's generally pretty destructive when they do.
