The Los Angeles Angels decided not to trade Shohei Otani at the deadline. Some thought it was a broader team building strategy because if Otani isn't going to be around, then if you can get the biggest prospect hall for him in history, how could you not do it? On the other hand, there's just something wrong and bad about that. The error here was what they did in the five preceding years when they completely spit the bit on having generational talent.
