Changes in Goldbladder Polyp Size
In 2022, members of the SIU were surveyed in an estimated combined total number of goldbladder imaging examinations exceeding 3 million. No respondents had ever seen a condunculated polyp smaller than 10 millimetre that was proven to be malignant. Updated follow-up and management recommendations have increased the size threshold for colostectomy and low risk morphology polyps to 15 millimetres.
