Olympic athletes are just born different and they're able to do things most people can't. Do you think it's more about this incredible reshaping of their environment so that they really have like almost no temptation to do anything other than the perfect training routine? No I don't think it's it's quite like that I think it's similar to habits and routines, there's also research showing that for example liking of exercise or of a specific exercise does not predict adherence as much as the results you get from it or the utility thereof.
