The Problem With Reactive Research

The biggest problem that I see with reactive research is it tends to be panicky, really panicky and not thoughtful and not intentional. So, what happens is there is a feature or something that gets into your request, so a stakeholder comes to you saying, we need to test this feature because we have to have this feature. Why can't we just then honestly release it and see what happens data wise and then dive back in if something's not working? This is maybe, hopefully, I'm hitting on something that has happened. So, this is the plan that you're trying to challenge.
